Nestor Lasso is a young, innovative coffee farmer making a name for himself due to his family's dedication to quality at their farm, El Diviso in Huila, Colombia. He holds a Technical Degree in Specialty Coffee Processing from SENA and has contributed to several coffee champions' victories since 2022.

Five years ago, Nestor and his brother Adrian took over their family farm, shifting from traditional coffee farming to focusing on specialty coffee and experimentation. Now, at the ages of 22 and 24, they have partnered with Jhoan Vergara, another coffee farmer's son, to create El Diviso. This initiative combines the two family farms, El Diviso and Las Flores, near Pitalito in Huila, to enhance quality through their collective knowledge.

Three years ago, Cat & Pierre, founders of CATA Export, joined the trio in a journey of trial and error to refine fermentation processes and protocols. This collaboration has been resource-intensive but rewarding, with their coffee now used in many global barista competitions!
